Dear Students:  

I hope this letter finds you well as you make the most of the last days of summer. I’m sure you are as sad as I am to see another summer end, but I am excited to continue our growth on our uplifting and positive spiritual journey. 

I am excited to help you grow closer to God through daily prayer and scripture reflection. Quarterly Mini Faith Builders will help you strengthen your relationship with God, and aid your participation in fostering God’s Kingdom on Earth. We will spend time focusing on the liturgical seasons, saints, and prayers. 

In 5th grade we will be focusing on the sacraments and how they bestow God’s grace upon us. 

In 6th grade we will be delving more into the Bible with scripture and its historical timeline. 

In 7th grade we will focus on The Mass and the Eucharist, and begin preparations for the Sacrament of Confirmation. 

In 8th grade, it is my hope that you will make a strong connection with your Confirmation Saint, so that you can seek to call on him/her for help when needed, and emulate his/her virtues.
